All you have to do is leave a comment under any of our posts. For every comment left, we will add one dollar to the donation. We are going to donate items to the Children’s Hospital of Michigan at the Detroit Medical Center. Just the simplest of items can help a child with cancer, or there for surgery, make it through their day. Please help us help the children of the DMC. Come back to the blog often!
The reason: Our daughter, Ellie, was having very high fevers regularly for nearly a year. So, needless to say, it was cause for concern for us. To this day, we don’t know what caused them. However, during this period, we went to the detroit childrens center a few times. Each time we were there , we were just so sad to see all of the sick kids there and it really made us realize just how lucky we are. There were children in there of all ages dealing with unimaginable illness and disease. I can not imagine being the parent of a child in that position. So, even though a small can of play-dough or a colorful mobile may not seem like a lot to you or I, it might help one child have one more good day.
